I can't feel a difference. I keep this one on my desk at work for my shoulder aches. It's been about 2 weeks or so and nothing has changed. I will report back in 30 days if I can remember. Alot of hype but no results. Maybe these lights aren't all the same. Some may be better than others. I pray I. Didn't waste my money. *sigh*

I bought this light for my husband because I had read that some people find relief from Post Herpetic Neuropathy by using red light therapy. It's hard to say whether or not it has helped him heal, because we are trying so many therapies simultaneously (the pain from PHN is horrible), but he definitely found it soothing and loves to use it. The surprise is just how much our cats love it! It is aimed the the arm of a recliner chair, as as soon as I turn it on, they race to be the first one to stretch out under it! The pictures are of two different cats (hard to tell because of the lighting). Come to find out, red light is beneficial for pets as well, and it certainly seems like they know it! :) The bulb is VERY heavy, by the way. Good to know when looking for a fixture for it.

Mostly I'm using this device for my face to target with its anti-aging skin benefits. I did try it on my nagging bicep that's had sharp dull aches for about 6 months, and had pain relief after 20 mins of exposure on the first use, so now I target that area daily as well and I'm noticing improvements over time. Just wow. Only downside to all this is the time commitment, but I'm doing treatments at roughly the same time of day to make sure it's becomes a routine. I have a family member using this as well. Even the cats come into the room and are getting some indirect light and they seem to like it. Plants love this light too so if you have any in the same room they will respond well. I grow broccoli sprouts and my batches grow faster and are more full and that's with the light all the way on the other side of the room and they only get a soft glow.

After leaving this review the company reached out to me to make it right by allowing me to choose another product. Since the bulb was obviously used and broken, I blame the amazon fulfillment team for sending it. I chose the red light with the panel design from this company as a replacement and have been very happy with it. I would definitely recommend that you opt for the panel design! Previous review: So I'd call this lamp a fire hazard but it looked like it had already realized its fate. The cord looked like this out of the box so it was clearly used. I thought the lamp might still be okay but when I put it in a different lamp holder I have, it sparked and made my house lights shut off for a second! I just wanted to warn everyone and I hope the person who originally got it is okay.
